These terms govern your use of kinoped.com (the “Site”), operated by Innovations Health Devices (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The Site presents the Kinoped lower-extremity exercise robot and the KinoStudio software platform for informational purposes. By using the Site you accept these terms; if you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
01Acceptance of Terms
Your agreement to these terms is formed by accessing or using the Site. We may update the terms from time to time (see section 08); continuing to use the Site after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms. The Site is intended for professional and general audiences and requires no account or registration.
02Use of the Site
You may browse the Site and use its content for informational purposes — evaluating the platform, researching a potential partnership, citing our published material as described below. You may not scrape or harvest the Site at scale, interfere with its operation or security, misrepresent your affiliation with us, or use the Site or its content to state or imply an endorsement by us that does not exist.
03Intellectual Property
The Site and its contents — including the KINOPED™ and KinoStudio names and logos, product design and imagery, page copy, and the white papers and publications we author — are owned by Innovations Health Devices or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may quote or cite our white papers and published material in academic and professional work with attribution. Beyond that, you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our written permission. Third-party publications listed in our evidence library remain the property of their respective publishers.
04Product Information Disclaimer
The Kinoped is in active prototype development. Specifications shown on the Site — including degrees of freedom, torque figures, telemetry channels, and software capabilities — describe the platform as currently designed and are subject to change before and after launch. Nothing on the Site is medical, clinical, or research advice; content is provided for general information only and is not a substitute for the judgment of qualified professionals. The Kinoped has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulator, and no content on the Site should be read as a claim of regulatory clearance, safety, or efficacy for any medical use.
05Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innovations Health Devices will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
06Third-Party Links
The Site links to material we do not control — academic publications, partner-lab sites, event pages such as the World Congress of Biomechanics, and our LinkedIn profile. Those destinations have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or availability. A link from the Site is not an endorsement.
07Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
08Changes to These Terms
When we change these terms we will update this page and the effective date at the top before the change takes effect. Meaningful changes will be noted in the newsroom. The version published on this page is the version in force.
