This website, kinoped.com (the “Site”), is operated by Innovations Health Devices (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the company building the Kinoped lower-extremity exercise robot and the KinoStudio software platform. This policy describes what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only — not to the Kinoped platform itself (see section 03).
01Information We Collect
Information you send us. The Site does not require an account. When you submit one of our forms — the contact form, a job application, or a notify-me signup — the information you entered is sent to HubSpot, a customer-relationship platform that processes it on our behalf so we can respond to you and keep track of our correspondence. Depending on the form, that is typically your name, email address, organization, area of interest, and message; job applications also include the role, your location, a portfolio link, and — if you attach one — your resume, which is stored with our file-storage provider, Uploadcare, and linked to your application. Nothing is transmitted until you press submit.
Information collected automatically. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on the Site. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages — in server logs for security and delivery purposes.
02How We Use Information
We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiry — for example, to follow up on a demo request, a research partnership, or a press question — and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email you have not asked for.
03Research-Subject Data
Data collected on the Kinoped platform in research or clinical settings — such as movement telemetry, session records, and subject profiles in KinoStudio — is controlled by the operating institution under its own research protocols, ethics approvals, and data-governance agreements. That data never flows through this Site, and this policy does not govern it. Questions about a specific study's data should go to the institution running it.
04Sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers who help us operate, when the law requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy would continue to apply to the information collected under it. Our service providers are: HubSpot (a US-based platform that receives and stores form submissions and our correspondence records), Uploadcare (file storage for resumes attached to job applications), Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery), and our email provider. Each processes personal information only to provide its service to us.
05Data Retention
We keep your inquiries and applications the way businesses keep correspondence: for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can pick a thread back up or meet record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete our correspondence with you — including a submitted application and its resume — at any time (see section 07).
06Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we keep the personal information we hold limited to what you have sent us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the small footprint of data we handle is a deliberate part of how we protect it.
07Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses of it. Since what we hold is your correspondence with us, exercising these rights is straightforward: email us at the address below and tell us what you would like done. We will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you.
08Cookies
The Site does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking, and no HubSpot (or other third-party) tracking script runs when you browse it. When you submit a form, the submission itself goes to HubSpot as described in section 01, but browsing the Site places no HubSpot cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies for security purposes (such as bot mitigation). Because we use no optional cookies, the Site shows no cookie banner — there is nothing to opt into.
09Changes to This Policy
If our practices change — for example, if we add analytics or a newsletter — we will update this policy and its effective date at the top of this page before the change takes effect. Meaningful changes will be noted in the newsroom.
